Kitchener Dryer Vent Cleaning is a booking line. It is not a duct cleaning company, and it is not a directory that sells your enquiry to a list of bidders. It connects to one local technician who works across the city — the 1960s to 80s bungalows and sidesplits in Stanley Park, Forest Heights, Rosemount and Country Hills with basement laundry at the end of a long run, the stacked townhouses in Doon and Huron Park, the condos along the ION line, the century homes downtown and around Victoria Park — plus Waterloo, Cambridge, Breslau and the townships.

Dryer vents are the maintenance job nobody thinks about until the dryer takes two cycles or there is grass hanging out of the wall. They are also the one most often done badly: a shop vac in the first foot of duct, the dryer never moved, the hood never looked at, and a bill. Or bundled as a throw-in on another service by someone who does not carry the rods to reach the end of a long run.

The point of this site is a straight line to a technician who does the whole run from both ends, pulls the dryer and cleans the transition and lint housing, clears the hood, measures the airflow before and after, and tells you in writing when the vent needs to be repaired or rerouted rather than cleaned again next year. If the vent is clear, you are told that. If it ends in a chimney chase, you are told that too.

What we will not do: publish reviews we do not have, invent a rating or a star count, quote a fixed price on a website, invent fire statistics to frighten you, or sell your phone number to a list of companies who will all call you. This site is new. It says what it can do and nothing more.

What the technician handles

What it does not handle

HVAC air duct cleaning — the furnace supply and return system — is a separate service and is not offered through this site. Dryer repair is an appliance technician's work. Gas dryer connections belong to a technician registered with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority. Masonry, roofing and wildlife removal beyond the vent itself are other trades. Dryer fire safety guidance comes from the Office of the Fire Marshal and the NFPA, and this site links them rather than making up numbers. Anyone working in your house carries liability insurance and WSIB coverage. You will be told when a job belongs to someone else rather than sold something that will not fix it.

How this works

When you call 226-546-5819 or send the form, your details go straight to the technician's office. They ask where the dryer is, where the hood is and what the run looks like, quote the job in writing, and do the work under their own insurance and WSIB coverage. Your information is not sold, not shared with a list of competing companies, and there is no markup added to your bill for the introduction.
